On October 27th, over 50 members of Local 1144 joined CUPE members from all over Ontario at a rally in Kingston. The members from Kingston General Hospital gave us all CUPE pink umbrellas to keep us dry.
It was a cold, snowy day but the hearts of the people were warm, and we shouted our message to the Government that cuts to healthcare is simply not acceptable.
